Michael Hayes served the art colony known as Laguna Beach, California for more than 40 years as a designing goldsmith and gemologist. In 2004, he sold his full service jewelry store, that also included the title of "Official Rolex Jeweler". He now creates custom jewelry for the water sports industry and serves as Perris Pawn's in-house jeweler on Monday and Thursdays.
